I’m Bryn Reimer, a computational/data scientist and current PhD candidate at UMass Amherst. As of Fall 2026, I am current on the job market for tenure-track positions, with a particular interest in working at a liberal arts college.
I work mainly at the intersection of computational biology and computational chemistry, with a particular focus on (1) developing methods and building predictive models/tools for working computational natural scientists, (2) collaborating with experimental colleagues to turn raw data into biochemical insights, and (3) using data science and domain knowledge to understand the inner workings of predictive models for these application areas.
